Cuando hablamos de listados económicos una delas referencias, sin lugar a dudas, son las elaboradas por la revista americana Forbes. En este caso, han publicado la lista delos deportistas que más idnero ingresaron en el 2016, considerando tanto salario o premios como patrocinios. Como siempre en este tipo de datos hay que ser muy cautelosos ya que no suelen ser muy exactos aunque sin lugar a dudas es una muy buena aproximación sujeta a algunos olvidos cantados y quizás algún ajuste en lo monetario.
